Hoses for this application are probably the most widely used in industry. Even at relatively low pressures, they may constitute a hazard, making correct selection an essential criteria. Even at the relatively low pressure of 100psi, compressed air is dangerous. For this reason, we always advise customers to seek advice before selecting a product, particularly as there are many types of hose for conveying air which have identical or similar pressure ratings, but very different performance standards. Our range comprises of Rubber, PVC, Nylon, PTFE, Silicone, Polyurethane and Metal
hoses. Diameters, pressure, lengths and colours available depend on the material
selected. We also stock a range of ducting for the movement of air or gasses in diameters up to 915mm in a wide variety of materials. As hoses have to be attached to other equipment or
pipe work, selection of end terminations and means of attachment is extremely important.
